Privacy Policy

Price Book ("we", "the App") is an independently developed iOS application for tracking everyday product prices. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights.
Price records you create — Product names, prices, store names, dates, and notes. This data is stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced to your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit.
App preferences — Currency selection, custom units, and store lists. Stored locally on your device only.
Receipt images (temporary) — When you use the receipt scanning feature, the photo is processed on-device using Apple's Vision framework for text recognition. The extracted text (not the image) may be sent to a third-party AI service for parsing. Images are not stored or uploaded to any server.
Apple iCloud (CloudKit) — If iCloud is enabled on your device, your price data syncs across your devices through your personal iCloud account. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
AI receipt parsing — When you scan a receipt, the recognized text may be sent to an AI service (currently OpenRouter / DeepSeek) to extract product names, prices, and categories. Only the receipt text is sent — no images, no personal identifiers, no device information. This processing is solely for providing the scanning feature.
The App requests camera or photo library access only when you choose to scan a receipt. Photos are processed on-device and are never uploaded or stored by the App.
The App offers a one-time purchase to unlock full features. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
All data is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account (if enabled). iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data.
You can delete all your data at any time through Settings → Clear All Data within the App. Uninstalling the App will also remove all local data. iCloud data can be managed through your device's iCloud settings.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

本应用仅在您选择扫描收据时请求相机或相册权限。照片在设备端处理，本应用不会上传或存储照片。
本应用提供一次性购买以解锁完整功能。购买完全由 Apple App Store 处理，我们无法访问您的支付信息。
所有数据存储在您的设备本地和您的私人 iCloud 账户中（如已开启）。iCloud 数据在传输和存储时由 Apple 加密。我们不运营任何存储您个人数据的服务器。
您可以随时通过应用内 设置 → 清除所有数据 删除全部数据。卸载应用也会删除所有本地数据。iCloud 数据可通过设备的 iCloud 设置管理。
本应用不面向 13 岁以下儿童。我们不会有意收集儿童的任何信息。
我们可能不时更新本政策。任何变更将在本页面发布并更新生效日期。
