Our approach in one line

StillSound does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. The app works offline, contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and never sends your content to our servers — because we don't operate any.

Who we are

StillSound (“静声”, the “App”) is a white-noise and ambient-sound app published by Perry Lee (“we”, “us”). App bundle identifier: com.perry.WhiteNoise.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, advertising identifier, or any account information. We have no servers and no backend, so there is nowhere for your personal data to be sent or stored by us.

Data the App handles on your device

Microphone (optional): If you choose to record your own ambient sounds, the App uses the microphone to capture audio. Recordings are saved locally on your device. The microphone is never used unless you start a recording.
Your recordings, mixes & favorites: Sounds you record or import, the mixes you save, and your favorites are stored locally on your device.
Usage analytics (local only): The App keeps a small, anonymous log of in-app events (e.g. play taps, timer usage) in your device's local storage to help us understand which features matter. This data stays on your device and is never uploaded.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, the App can mirror your saved mixes, favorites, and recordings to your own iCloud account so they sync across your devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access it. You can manage or delete it in your device's iCloud settings.

Purchases

StillSound Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We never see or store your payment information. Apple handles billing and provides us only with the anonymous entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Third parties

The only third party involved is Apple, through standard system services (the App Store / StoreKit for purchases and iCloud for optional sync). We do not integrate any advertising networks, analytics providers, or other third-party trackers.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention & deletion

Because data lives on your device (and optionally your iCloud), you are in control. Deleting the App removes its local data from your device. Data synced to iCloud can be removed through your device's iCloud settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.

一句话说明

「静声」(StillSound) 不收集、不传输、不出售你的个人数据。App 可离线使用，不含任何第三方广告或分析 SDK，也绝不会把你的内容发送到我们的服务器——因为我们根本没有服务器。

我们是谁

「静声」(StillSound，下称「本 App」) 是一款白噪音与环境音 App，由 Perry Lee（下称「我们」）发布。App 标识符：com.perry.WhiteNoise。

我们不会收集的信息

我们不收集你的姓名、邮箱、通讯录、位置、广告标识符或任何账户信息。我们没有服务器、没有后端，因此你的个人数据无处可被我们发送或存储。

本 App 在你设备上处理的数据

麦克风（可选）：若你选择录制自己的环境音，本 App 会使用麦克风采集音频。录音仅保存在你的设备本地。只有在你主动开始录制时才会使用麦克风。
你的录音、混音与收藏：你录制或导入的声音、保存的混音、收藏的内容，均存储在你的设备本地。
使用分析（仅限本地）：本 App 会在设备本地存储一小段匿名的应用内事件记录（如播放点击、定时器使用），以便我们了解哪些功能更重要。这些数据始终留在你的设备上，绝不会上传。

iCloud 同步

若你已登录 iCloud，本 App 可将你保存的混音、收藏与录音镜像到你自己的 iCloud 账户，以便在你的多台设备间同步。这些数据存储于你的个人 iCloud，受 Apple 隐私政策约束，我们无法访问。你可在设备的 iCloud 设置中管理或删除它们。

购买

StillSound Pro 订阅与永久买断由 Apple 通过 App Store 与 StoreKit 处理。我们不会看到或存储你的支付信息。Apple 负责计费，仅向我们提供解锁 Pro 功能所需的匿名权益状态。详见 Apple 隐私政策。

第三方

唯一涉及的第三方是 Apple，通过标准系统服务实现（App Store / StoreKit 用于购买，iCloud 用于可选同步）。我们不集成任何广告网络、分析服务或其他第三方追踪器。

儿童隐私

本 App 不面向 13 岁以下儿童，我们也不会在知情的情况下收集儿童的个人信息。

数据保留与删除

由于数据保存在你的设备上（以及可选的 iCloud），主动权在你。删除本 App 即会移除其在设备上的本地数据。同步至 iCloud 的数据可通过设备的 iCloud 设置删除。

政策变更

我们可能会不时更新本政策。重大变更将通过更新本页面的「最后更新」日期予以体现。
